Understanding Your Diagnosis

When I found out I had breast cancer, I turned to the Internet for help.  The medical information confused and scared me.  I didn’t know my full diagnosis until a few weeks after surgery, so the information wasn’t useful.

As you get the details of your diagnosis, use the links below to learn what the term means.  I had a research scientist locate the  easiest to understand and most accurate definitions.

Once again, if your insurance company offers you a case manger, get one.  They will happy to answer your questions.
